Secret Oasis - Luxury restored house in the old city of Rethymno

Everything you could need during your holiday stay- loved it Positive: Excellent place to stay. Negative: It was a little disconcerting on arrival when the street where the accommodation was located seemed a little neglected, however once we stepped inside we knew why it is called Secret Oasis. What a fabulous place. Beautifully fitted out with all amenities anyone could need. It is only a short walk to the centre of the old town bars and restaurants. The roof terrace is a fantastic addition, a quiet haven to relax after a day out exploring the local area. We would stay here again.

Leuke tijd gehad in Rethimon maar het is moeilijk om tot rust te komen in de BNB Positive: Mooie accommodatie in het centrum van de oude stad. We vroegen om bloemen te leveren en deze werden netjes op tijd geleverd voor 15€. Negative: 2 dagen voor aankomst was er een zandstorm waardoor de terras zeer vuil was bij aankomst. We kregen als uitleg dat de poetsdame de volgende ochtend alles ging komen opkuisen om 6u ‘s morgens omdat er dan voldoende water aanwezig was. De tafel en stoelen waren na de opkuis nog steeds zeer vuil. We lieten dit weten aan de host maar de poetsdame kon niet terug komen waardoor we het dan maar zelf hebben opgekuist. Er was zeer veel lawaaihinder tot 03u ‘s nachts. ‘s morgens was er lawaaihinder van de vrouw die voor de BNB woont. Zij was elke morgen aan het schreeuwen! Er waren 2 koffiemachines aanwezig. De ene werkte niet en de andere werkte niet goed. De droogkast kon niet gebruikt worden aangezien deze een hels lawaai maakt.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt Positive: Schöne moderne Unterkunft, sehr gute Ausstattung der Küche, Dachterasse ist wirklich schön zum abends sitzen. Die Lage ist wirklich top. Negative: Im Hauptschlafzimmer ist es gerade am Wochenende wirklich sehr laut durch die Straße draußen. Außerdem ist es nicht möglich die Zimmertüren leise zu schließen.

Positive: It was close to everything, the hosts were very good at communicating when we needed them. The apartment was well equipped and comfy enough Negative: Location was very central to everything, although set back from main road the noise from street can be heard late at night and early into the morning
