PP 6/40 1 bd apt in a complex with common pool

Kein Platz für einen Sommerurlaub, den man gerne draußen verbringen möchte, im Winter sicher fein, weil es innen nett is Positive: Das Apartment war sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr nett eingerichtet, nach dem Motto klein aber fein. Negative: Der „Balkon“ bzw. „Aussenbereich“ war gar nicht in Ordnung. Im Eingangsbereich mit Blick auf die Straße bzw. den Parkplatz, 4x2m groß auf jeder Seite der Eingangstür, standen zwei Stühle mit einem kleinen Tisch mit dem Aussengerät der Klimaanlage im Rücken.

Plakias Panorama Home 6/40 is a great base for adventures on Rethymno’s southern coast! Positive: Unit 6/40 is a quaint and clean apartment, with ample size for a couple. The bed was very comfortable, with a wide variety of pillows to fit the needs of most. The bedroom contained more than enough storage for our clothes and luggage. The clothes washing machine and dishwasher are welcome amenities, and both worked flawlessly. The shower had outstanding pressure, and with a bit of manipulation of the manual heater, the hot water tank provided enough water for two consecutive showers. Kitchen was well equipped with most standard needs met. I would have enjoyed an espresso machine over the provided filter coffee machine, but that is a personal preference. Both aircon units were quick to tame the raging summer heat of Plakias. The location of the property is perfect. It is just far enough outside of the town center to be quiet, but also a short walk to the beach (8 minutes), Spar (grocery, 5 minutes), bakery (1 minute), and town center (10 minutes). Also, 6/40 is convenient to the rubbish bins, located at the end of the property access road. We did not use the pool, but it looked to be clean and well maintained. Negative: Nothing, the stay was great!

Positive: Second time we have stayed here. Property is comfortable and immaculate. Well equipped kitchen. Walk to shops and beach.
